| Windows: If you start the Subaru Gen2 Toolbox you will be prompted with this version update popup. Click to yes. You will immediately see the new Toolbox version download progress. After the download is complete the installer starts automatically.   After the installer is started, you can choose the installer’s language. Press OK.  Go through the installation by clicking “Next”. Installation is in progress (2nd screen). Once the install is complete, click on “Finish” (see on the third screen) to start the new Naviextras Toolbox.    At the first start of the Naviextras Toolbox you will need to accept the End User License Agreement. Please read the EULA carefully and tick the box at the bottom of the page before clicking on “ACCEPT”.  Connect your Subaru device (SD card) to the new Naviextras Toolbox, it will be recognised.  After the device is recognized, you will see this Home Screen.  You can find the new Naviextras Toolbox in the start menu. You don’t need uninstall the old Subaru Toolbox manually, beacause the program was deleted during the install.  You can login with your existing username/password, don't need to create a new account. Upon logging in, your update and purchase history, along with account details, will be preserved and accessible. |

After the download is complete the installer starts automatically. If you get an authentication popup, type your username and password to the appropriate fields and press OK.   The new Naviextras Toolbox is installed into your Subaru Gen2 Toolbox application folder here:  If you start the Subaru Gen2 Toolbox you will arrive to this welcome page.  If you connect your Subaru device, it will be recognized and you will see this Home Screen.  You can start the new Naviextras Toolbox by clicking on the Subaru Gen2 Toolbox icon in Finder > Application list, or clicking on the Subaru Gen2 Toolbox icon on the Launchpad.  You can login with your existing username/password, don't need to create a new account. Upon logging in, your update and purchase history, along with account details, will be preserved and accessible. |
